Weekly Recycling Pickup Guidelines
Place all your recyclable item loosely together, there is no need to separate. Please rinse all containers.
Due to the ever-increasing cost of processing single stream recycling, extra recycling outside of your cart must be called in 24 hours before your scheduled pick up and will be billed at an extra cost. Please be aware that all boxes must be broken down and bundled to fit into your cart to be dumped.
Acceptable Items:
- Junk mail / Magazines / Newspaper
- Phone books
- Paper bags
- Cereal, chips, cake, cracker boxes
- Pop, beer, tissue boxes
- Egg cartons
- Corregated cardboard
- Aluminum, tin and steel cans
- Glass food jars. (brown, green, clear)
- Glass beverage bottles
- Plastic containers numbered 1,2 and 5. (Examples Soda, juice and water bottles, milk, and juice jugs.)
- Margarine, cottage cheese, cream cheese and other tubs and lids. Laundry detergent bottles and jugs
- Clear berry and produce containers.
- No Black colored plastic.

- Used paper plates
